MSEI Services: Workforce Development

"Skillworks" -  The workforce development programme is called Skillworks.

Managed by the Learning and Skills Council (LSCGM) with contracted providers.

Skillworks will begin with a diagnostic which will include the production of an organisational TNA (training needs analysis). The service will be demand led so the support an enterprise will receive will depend entirely upon the specific needs revealed. Support could typically include: · Financial and Business Accounting · Human Resources · General Management · Operations · Sales and Marketing · New Product Development · ICT · Health Safety and the Environment

However if the TNAs require learning provision from outside of the ordinary, Skillworks providers will be expected to source this for the social enterprise. The individual social enterprise will be required to pay 20% of the total cost of their individual Skillworks programme.

If you are interested in getting an organisational TNA or putting individuals through the Skillworks programme then contact the Social Enterprise Enablers by clicking here,

You can also contact the Enablers at Blue Orchid on 0151 248 7728.

As part of Phase 1 of MSEI subsidised places were offered on the MSS Programme of training run by GME.

This programme has now been taken on  by Rhema. MSEI are no longer subsidising these seminars but they are still incredibly good value at £99 per day. They cover areas such as People Management, Finance, Customer Care and a host of other options.
